Myrtlewood Golf Club - PineHills MBGA RATING - «« This used to be the better of the two courses here, but excessive condo development and the reworking of the Palmetto has reduced this course to the runner-up here. In 1997 Golf Digest picked it as one of the "Top 10" layouts in Myrtle Beach. Built among new-growth pines, it features 26 acres of water, several sharp doglegs, substantial mounding, numerous sand bunkers and new Bermuda greens. Designer Arthur Hills left several large trees in-play here, to add extra challenge to one’s shot-making abilities. Their biggest asset is their friendly people, but they have a bad habit of sneaking their members in front of other scheduled groups.
