Heather Glen Golf Links
–
MBGA RATING -
««« Since
its opening this 27-hole tract was a favorite of virtually everyone, and
for a while was a MBGA Player’s Top 20 golf course, but times change and
despite having some of the friendliest people in town it has slipped
some. This outfit is known for being goofy over anything remotely
Scottish as is evidenced by all silly names for practically everything
(holes, bunkers, dunes, creeks, etc.) there. While they call it a
“links-style” layout, it is more of a “parkland-style.” While the
natural beauty of ever-changing elevations, 100-year old pines,
dogwoods, hollies, massive oaks, streams and brooks are all still there.
