Carolina Shores Golf & Country Club - MBGA RATING - «  In 1990 Golf Course Rankings of America (any one ever heard of these guys? Neither have we!) rated this course 1st on the Grand Strand. Located on the North Carolina – South Carolina border in Calabash, North Carolina, this tract, that says it “stresses shot making over power,” features narrow rolling tree-lined fairways, large greens, 10 lakes and 96 bunkers. This clunker has already been in bankruptcy court twice, and if it isn’t developed into condos or a shopping center a 3rd filing wouldn’t surprise us. So we’d forget about this dog, but if you’re goofy enough to take the risk of teeing it up on this suspect, we’d strongly advise you to use a credit card so that, at least, you might have a chance to get your money back if our prediction is correct.
