This facility built its reputation on its challenging layout and friendly people, and while the friendliness continues the experience comes up short. It features three 9-hole tracts: The Waterway, The Lakes and The Cypress, each one with its own feel and challenge. Old pro, Ray Floyd, worked closely with the architect Tom Jackson to design a track with the feel of courses set in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Waterway nine is definitely the best tract with The Lakes a close second, while The Cypress is a distant 3^rd.
