This tract is John Daly’s first signature course when he was the hottest guy in golf. Remember that? The first twelve holes are rather flat, wide-open and wind-swept links-style layouts, while the last six are more a more traditional-style. A couple of holes are extremely tight, It features dune fields, wide fairways, large waste areas with gorse-like vegetation, pot bunkers, water in-play on six holes and the Daly Tees, for the macho crowd. The pro shop staff can be a surly bunch. Rumor has it that they are going to put a Hooter’s in the snack bar, and a statue of Daly passed out in the parking lot. Cool, it, we’re just kidding!
