This is Greg Norman’s first golf course in the Carolinas, and we’re still trying to figure out what the developer was trying to accomplish. They touted weird stuff like “no benches, no signage, no roads and no rough.” This tract borders protected conservation areas and has 160 acres of wetlands and winding wooden cart bridges. It features forced carries over wetlands, wide fairways, waste-bunkers, medium-size greens and a large practice facility The perpetually confused and pompous twits that developed this tacks lost it to foreclosure, and the new management appears to know what they’re doing. We’ll see.
