Barefoot Resort - Norman Course -MBGA RATING - While this is the weakest of the four courses at Barefoot, it is a very close 4th and it still surpasses most courses in the area, primarily because of the holes along the Intracoastal waterway. While this course also suffers from the traffic noise from the six-lane highway running through the center of the project, the increasing development there. This Greg Norman designed course features seven holes along the Waterway and only 60 acres of mowable grass. Norman used the waste areas and the site's natural vegetation to frame each hole. Norman's philosophy of bringing "bump and run" shots into play, has not been very well received here. They recently completed a beautiful new 27-acre practice and teaching facility serving the Fazio, Love or Norman courses.
