Barefoot Resort - Dye Club - MBGA RATING - «««« While all four of the Barefoot courses are some of the best tracks in the area, and this one is one of the area’s best. The only problem there is the traffic noise from the six-lane highway running through the center of the project. Bordering the natural white sands of the Carolina Bays, this visually stunning Pete Dye design is filled with his infamous pitfalls for wayward shots that have become synonymous with the Dye name. Working with exceptional elevations and an excellent site, this course really lives up to the challenges Old Pete is famous for. While this layout is both beautiful and treacherous, if played from the appropriate set of tees, players of all abilities will be able to easily navigate this Par 72, 7,343-yard layout that encourages walking for guests and members alike. This course is only one of the four at Barefoot with its own clubhouse and practice facility.
