MBGA RATING -

Despite their updated L93 Bentgrass greens, new
sand in the bunkers, improved drainage, resurfaced cart paths and
target greens on the practice facility this track, their fairways
are in hideous shape. One golfer best described them as. “Like
playing off of a concrete-like dirt road.” Built upon a 900-acre
marsh preserve, this is the longer of the two courses here, and
has a links-style flavor to it with lots of open stretches, varied
elevations, water, thick growths of pampas grass and medium sized
greens. Their 508-yard, par 5, 18th hole finishes along
bluffs overlooking the Calabash River, but for now, forget it.
