Oak Island Golf Club – MBGA RATING - ««« This wide open, wind swept, oceanside, beach-style course winds through Yaupon Beach and Caswell Beach, and features Bermuda grass greens, tees, fairways and roughs, 53 bunkers and water comes into play on nine holes. While this is not a course that you’d want to drive an hour to play, however, if you are in the Southport area it’s a neat little getaway, and a chance to enjoy not only fun golf but also waterfowl, live oaks, Yaupon trees, birds and alligators.
