Beachwood Golf Club - MBGA RATING - « This golf course hosted the 1989 Carolina's Open, the 1992 Golf Writer's Association of America and annually hosts the Carolina's PGA Senior's Championship. The signature hole at Beachwood is the 239-yard, par-3, 18th. There is water in play on seven holes. While this coastal layout with its Bermuda greens and flat terrain is basically a municipal golf course, and is only suited for bargain hunters and beginners. Their customer service can only be considered an oxymoron. There’s good news and bad news here. The good news is that they are trying to close this old dog, but the bad news is that the City is screwing with the rezoning. Needless to say this is a NO PLAY!
